Seasons Gives Away Exclusive Clarks & Pete McKee Designed Footwear

To celebrate Seasons’ 5th Anniversary, we invited Sheffield’s finest to attend an exclusive launch party at Bar Soyo, where we also got some of our friends involved to put together a special, one-off prize giveaway.
Clarks sent us these two pairs of boots from their Desert Boot collaboration with Sheffield-born artist, Pete McKee, not set to hit the shelves until early 2010. They were given away in a prize draw to two lucky winners after the night.
These shoes are a new standard in artist and brand collaborations. Pete McKee’s work draws on all things British - Mods & Rockers, seaside holidays, working men’s clubs and the music. His distinctive style has caught the attention of everyone from local boys, The Arctic Monkeys and Noel Gallagher to our Atlantic neighbours; Acme Studios commissioned McKee to interpret a selection of characters from The Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy following his attendance at the Art Expo fair in New York in 2007.
McKee’s style matches effortlessly with Clarks’ (as you can see from the photos) and with their keen eye for detail, they have screened his images onto the softest Italian leather. Expect these shoes to kick up a storm when they hit the streets next year.
Above you can see McKee signing the two pairs of exclusive boots, with a little hand-drawn message on the boxes for the winners (the boots arrived so far in advance of their release date that the box hadn’t even been designed yet, giving McKee a perfect canvas to work from).
