Nudie Jeans - Fit Guide
Here at Seasons we stock a large variety of Nudie Jeans, our favourite denim brand from Gothenburg in Sweden. Whether you're after a regular, 'carrot fit', slim leg or just a pair of everyday jeans, here's our brief guide to make sure you get your desired fit.
Average Joe - As with most of the Nudie Jeans, the key really is in the title, hence why our Swedish friends have named this particular fit the 'Average Joe'. Its a regular fitting jean with an average thigh that remains straight from the knee right through to the leg opening. Perfect for the Gent who just wants an normal 'Average' jean.
Hank Rey - Fairly new to the range of fits at Nudie is the 'Hank Rey', its very similar to the Average Joe, except it has a lower yoke meaning the rear pockets sit slightly lower, other than it that it straight from the hip to knee, then proceeds to slightly taper from the knee to the leg opening.
Sharp Bengt - The Sharp Bengt (previously called 'Big Bengt') is slightly oversized in the waist and thigh with a narrow leg opening. To simplify, many would refer to this shape as typical 'Carrot Fit' jean, wider at the top with a taper towards the bottom.
Grim Timm - The Grimm Timm, (not so grimm as described) is a slim straight leg jean. Its narrow in the thigh with a straight leg from the knee to the leg opening. Great for those after a smart slim fitting jean without being branded 'budgie smugglers'.
Thin Finn - The Thin Finn is our slimmest fitting jean from the Nudie range, very similar to the 'Grim Timm', except with a lower yoke meaning they appear to sit lower on your waist and have slightly more of a tapered leg.
And the best part about Nudie Jeans, is that not only do they come in all of these differing fits, they also have a range of finishes to suit any individual. From used washes, making the jeans look like an old favourite pair, all the way to dry denim meaning they are ripe for creating your own story with them.
