The Adicolor concept was launched by adidas in 1983 where trainers were sold with the tools that they could be customised by the purchaser. The silhouette and colour of the trainer was purposely all white to encourage as much freedom amongst creativity as possible. In 2005 Adidas re-launched Adicolor with replicas of original trainers designed by numerous individuals throughout the years and here at Seasons we are lucky enough to have collected a few in our personal collection.

This Stan Smith II Black 4 released in 2006 as part of the Adicolor Black series took inspiration from 60s German government fitness campaign Trimm Dich meaning Get Fit which was fronted by the illustrated character Trimmy who promoted an active lifestyle. He was typically presented in a positive, thumbs-up pose. The character can be found on either side of both feet and also incorporated into the sole and laces of the trainer.

The trainers come complete and unworn in original box wrapped in matching Trimmy artwork tissue paper.
