Founded as a continuation to the highly popular Materials of the World, the Adidas Flavours of the World series is inspired by annual cultural, ingredient-based famous events from around the globe. Constructed from luxurious materials and made in limited numbers creating a highly sought after collection and one for any sneaker enthusiast. Each inspired event can be found running through the design of each individual trainer.

The Adicolor Low (White) was released in March 2008. Marchs Flavour Of The World is ispired by St.Patricks Day: The celebration of the patron saint of Ireland. St.Patrick was a Christian missionary, born in Roman Britain before being captured by Irish raiders and taken to Ireland as a slave. In many old pagan religions, the serpent was an often worshipped icon, and the legend of St.Patrick driving the snakes from Ireland probably refers to the end of pagan practices. The story is that St.Patrick converted warrior cheifs and princes to Christianity, baptizing them in the Holy Wells that still bear his name. St. Patricks day is the national holiday of Ireland and also widely celebrated across the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom to this day.
