Adidas Adicolor Yellow Series 1 Lo
The Adicolor concept was launched by adidas in 1983 where trainers were sold with the tools that they could be customised by the purchaser. The silhouette and colour of the trainer was purposely all white to encourage as much freedom amongst creativity as possible. In 2005 Adidas re-launched Adicolor with replicas of original trainers designed by numerous individuals throughout the years and here at Seasons we are lucky enough to have collected a few in our personal collection.
The Lo Yellow One released in 2006 as part of the Adicolor Yellow series was designed by graffiti artist, Twist (Barry McGee) and Huf founder - Keith Hufnagel. The pair took inspiration from the graffiti lifestyle/jail experience creating a fictional bail bondsman character named Ray Fong whose name features throughout the trainer while also using the pinstripe to represent jail uniform and the use of Gold to pay homage to San Francisco.
The trainers come complete and unworn in original Adicolor and Ray Fong box with four alternate shoe laces.
