Barbour Gold Label by Temperley
Following on from the huge success of the Barbour and Anya Hindmarch collaboration, we are pleased to welcome yet another fantastic pairing between Barbour and one of our favourite British designers, Alice Temperley. Summer 2011 has been an exciting time for the iconic duo as they have teamed together to form Barbour Gold Label by Alice Temperley, a new and exclusive luxury division of outerwear and knitwear.
Gold Label offers a magnificent hybrid of the classic Barbour heritage style and fabrics with Temperley's modern yet timeless glamour. The collection consists of three items of knitwear and five pieces of outerwear, all designed and crafted with the same attention to detail, style and essence of luxury that each designer would put into their own individual labels. Maintaining the very British feel, each item has been given a delightful English place name such as the 'Cambridge knit' or the 'Somerset jacket', giving the label a strong essence of British pride.
Classic Barbour features like waxed cotton, quilt detailing or the signature Barbour zip-pull are all integrated into Temperley's designs to create jackets that are distinctively luxurious and unique. Look out for the 'Devon jacket' and the 'Oxford jacket' as we predict big things for both this season!
This collaboration has come at the perfect time for Alice Temperley, as they are celebrating their 10th Anniversary as a brand. "As we plan to celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2011, this collaboration comes at a significant time for our brand and offers our customers even more to choose from than ever before."
There is nothing quite like a statement piece of outerwear during the colder months to really stand out from the crowd, and Barbour Gold Label is the perfect way to do so.
