The Adicolor concept was launched by adidas in 1983 where trainers were sold with the tools that they could be customised by the purchaser. The silhouette and colour of the trainer was purposely all white to encourage as much freedom amongst creativity as possible. In 2005 Adidas re-launched Adicolor with replicas of original trainers designed by numerous individuals throughout the years and here at Seasons we are lucky enough to have collected a few in our personal collection.

The Stan Smith II Yellow Four released in 2006 as part of the Adicolor Yellow series takes inspiration from the Mr. Men childrens book character Mr. Happy. Mr. Happy is perhaps the most iconic of the collection - he lives in Happyland where everyone and everything is always happy. Whenever youre down, Mr. Happy may come to visit and before long youll find yourself cheerful again. The character features throughout the trainer while also wearing a pair of Adidas in some of the drawings.

The trainers come complete and unworn in original Adicolor box wrapped in Mr.Happy print tissue paper.
