The Adidas Forest Hills launched in the 1970s as a tennis shoe was originally produced in many different styles up to the 1980s. The first editions had a protective leather toe cap similar to the half shells on the Superstar. The lightweight version we most recognize today as Forest Hills was adopted by British football fans during the 1980s casual movement.

These Forest Hills take inspiration from the earlier models featuring leather uppers with snakeskin effect material on toe cap and tongue with classic white sole.
